Getting Pregnant with irregular periods

How to start with hormonal therapy to get pregnant? I had thyroid issues earlier and still have irregular periods. After how much of starting the therapy do I get pregnant? I am stressed now due to irregular periods and afraid that I will not be able to get pregnant.
