Caring the patient with dementia is difficult, whole family is affected. Care giver burn out ( physical, emotional and mental exhaustion in carer) is common in dementia care. Both you and and your mother need to consult psychiatrist. Psychitrist will psychoeducate you about dementia ( what is dementia and how to care properly) and he also target your issues. If possible consult geriatric psychiatrist (geriatric mental health specialist), if not available than you can consult psychiatrist.
