Gestational diabetes
I just did my urinalysis today and my ob gyne told me that the results in my sugar is trace. Does it mean i have gestational diabetes. But prior to the urinalysis and same day also. I did my gluco test at home and the result is 88mg/dl. I told my ob gyne but she told me that I still need to do Fasting Blood Sugar. Is HGT and FBS still the same?

One can have sugar in urine during pregnancy without having diabetes. It is still essential that you do a blood test. I would recommend a GTT rather than fbs especially  if you have crossed 28 wks pregnancy. Hgt is tested on a glucometer which is not as accurate as a lab test.
