Gerd & continuos Hiccups
I'm suffering from gerd since last 3 months. There are continuous slight hiccups which irritates a lot Since I stay in rural area, haven't been able to see a gastrologist since not available in vicinity of 200kms! Have been taking Emoprazole as PPI but haven't got much relief Have been taking all preventive steps of food etc It would be grateful if any Gastrologist can help

Hi.... Avoid foods and drinks that trigger heartburn. Everyone has specific triggers. Common triggers such as fatty or fried foods, tomato sauce, alcohol, chocolate, mint, garlic, onion, and caffeine may make heartburn worse. Avoid foods you know will trigger your heartburn. Eat smaller meals. Avoid overeating by eating smaller meals. Don't lie down after a meal. Wait at least three hours after eating before lying down or going to bed. Elevate the head of your bed.
