General questions regarding bowel cancer
I am a 31 years old man with no history of colorectal cancer in family from India Since past 8 to 9 months i was experiencing anal discomfort and unusual bowel movement and mucus in stool. I Consultant gastroenterologist and even GI Surgeon i got screened via colonoscopy and ct scan in November Results i had internal hemorrhoids and moderate chronic colitis. I am taking mesalacure 1.2 gm and sompraz 40 empty stomach Though i dont have diarrhea but i still have anal discomfort.. Which i again got checked and it was fissure.. Applying hadensa cream.. Should i get myself checked again? For colonoscopy or scans.. How greater is risk of me having bowel cancer or do i have nothing to worry. Please guide.

You must not worry for cancer, because once colonoscopy done properly is normal and then it is unlikely to have cancer in at least 5 years, unless and untill you have risk factors. Still you get CT enterography done just once and if does not show cancer, then continue management for other problems.
