Sir I have smoked a total of approx 1000 cigarettes in my lifetime till now-maybe like 0.15 pack year.I regret this ,I am willing to immediately quit and I am still worried about my health. Can you clarify if it is reversible change to recover my lungs and heart to normal if I smoke no more from now on?( it is a total of 1000 cigarettes in my lifetime, not in last 1 year or something...)

That s a very good decision you have taken to quit smoking. Yes, as your age is 21, your lung function may be restored to normal, once you stop smoking.
But you need to undergo some tests to know upto what extent the smoking has affected your lung function.consukt online for further evaluation
