This condition requires furthur evaluation by endoscopy. Also need to rule out other causes of heaviness in chest like cardiac issues.
Next Steps
upper GI endoscopy will give you idea about reflux , extend and associated abnormality like lax lower oesophageal shincter or hiatus hernia if it is there, which can be correected surgically.
dont forget to do ECG.
