Gas and stomach pain while passing stool

My daughter is 7 months old.She is unable to pass her stool and crying while doing so. Kindly suggest me any medicine or home remedy.Can i go with gripe water for instant relief? Thank you Pls rply

Gassy tummy is very common in infants. Hope you have started her complementary foods along with breastmilk as she is 7months old. For gas relief, you can give her syrup Colicaid 1ml as and when needed if she looks uncomfortable due to gassy tummy. Make sure to give good fluids and continue your breastfeeds as well.
