Gallstones surgery
I have been suffering from gallstones problem, I read in one website that is alternative for gallbladder surgery, those are 1) Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) 2) methyl tertiary butyl ether (MTBE) What is your opinion about these treatments.

Hello there..... There is no permanent medical cure for gallstones. Although there are medical measures that can be taken to remove stones or relive symptoms, they are only temporary. If a patient has symptoms from gallstones, surgical removal of the gallbladder is the best treatment. Asymptomatic (producing no symptoms) gallstones do not require treatment.... Consult your surgeon for further advice.....
