Acute Pancreatitis and Gallstone
My mother had acute pancreatitis 3 months ago and lost 8kg wright. Current lft (bilurubin:1.4,tgrly:264,tcl:229). Recently she had MRCP which shows multiple calculi and sludge in neck of gallbader but cystic duct and common bile duct is normal and no calculi. We visited to a Surgeon who recomeneded to have gallbader removal. My question is whether this is the only option left because my mother is worried about surgery. Though she is not feeling any such pain now.
