Gall stones treatment
I have 4-5 mm of multiple gall stones.is surgery the only solution.I am on carrot cucumber orange n apple diet .no other food intake .can it be resolved through diet n medication

Dear Madam, Although incidental findings of Gallstones on ultrasound is common, only symptomatic gallstones need surgery. If the gallstones do not cause you any problems, you can wait and watch. However, if they cause you pain and discomfort, you most definitely will need surgery and gall bladder removal. No diet known to man has caused gallstone dissolution and is a myth.

No medical treatment for gallstones Surgery is the only solution If stones are not giving trouble, you can wait for surgery. Other high risk factors should be assessed before deciding about the course of treatment.
