Fungal infections
Jock itch and near buttocks for over 6-7 months. Large red/black patches. Ocassional itching. I have been using absorb powder for the same. I also have a detached nail in index finger. It recovers over a period of time but again gets detached.

You need to consult a dermatologist and get a physical examination done so that they can prescribe you with oral anti fungals which help to treat your condition(if it is truly jock itch)
