Finasteride is contraindicated in young females of childbearing age. Specially when your wife is recently married.
I suggest you avoid her getting pregnant for at least 6 months after stopping finasteride.

Finasteride may cause abnormal development of external genitalia in a male fetus if administered to pregnant female
So it is recommended either to postpone pregnancy or stop using finasteride
