Hi . I have taken few tests.. in that my FSH LEVEL came as 8.88 what does it mean.. I am 30 yrs old and trying to be pregnant

FSH levels are indicative of ovarian reserve to a certain extent. FSH levels vary from cycle to cycle and is not a very sensitive test for checking ovarian reserve. Your current value of FSH level falls in the normal range albeit a little on the higher side.

Next Steps

Get AMH levels done; it is by far a more sensitive test for checking ovarian reserve. A Day 2/3 ultrasound also is a very accurate test for fertility

Health Tips

Since you are 30; apart from a preconception check have a detailed fertility check also for both of you. Start on Folic Acid.
