Frequently asking milk
My baby is 3 months 1week old . I am giving Nan pro stage 1 to her. And I am increasing milk quantity according to her cues at present she is having 90 ml at once. But she is not able to stay for 2 hrs with out asking for milk again and after 1 and half hour she keeps her fingers in her mouth and slowly starts becoming cranky until she gets next bottle. But I am afraid to give her milk frequently as it may cause other problems.

Hello. This is Dr Rubal Jain ( MD Pediatrics and Lactation Consultant). First and foremost, I would request you to stop using bottle for feeding. Secondly, it is quite possible that the amount of milk you are providing is not adequate. So once your baby starts rejecting milk, I would suggest burp her for a very short duration and offer her milk again. Some times air trapping due to bottle feeding result in a feeling of fullness and early hunger. If your baby is gaining weight on her OPD visits, giving 8-10 dirty nappies in a day, then you may not worry so much. It could be an emotional phase for her and she is seeking your attention and not milk.
