Frequent saliva building up in throat

I have been experiencing some irritation in my throat and frequent saliva build up for a few days now. Also have been getting frequent burps for some reason.

Looks like post nasal drip which can be due to chronic sinusitis. Since you are also getting burp, GERD ie reflux is suspected.

Next Steps

Further clinical examination of the throat including oropharnyx, laryngopharynx will help in determining the cause. Also avoiding spicy food, alcohol, smoking helps. And regular meals is important.
