She experiences pain in the left eye (left side of left eye near the temple). This is as frequent as once in a day. She also tells this spreads up the left ear. Watering is more when the pain is at peak. This subsides after an hour or so.. And this is happening almost from a month.

This kind of pain could be a neuralgic one or even a variant of migraine. Since clinical diagnosis of these conditions is very useful in many situations, it is advisable to get an ophthalmologist consultation at the earliest. As already one month has passed after the start of the symptoms, I am not suggesting any home remedies, as it could further delay your attempts for a specialist care.
