Frequent Earwax problem

Asked for Male, 30 Years

I have never experienced earwax problems however from past 1.5 years it has increased a lot. Although I got it cleaned more than 3 times. I have stopped using linear headphones. Not sure why started facing this problem . Currently it's been less than a month that I got my ear cleaned and the numbness has increased and hearing loss is there. Please suggest.

Wax in the ears is an individual trait. There’s no particular reason why it should start increasing to such a frequency though. Please meet an ENT to rule out eczema or keratosis like conditions in your ear. Suggest you avoid things like headphones and buds for ear cleaning . Warm regards Dr.Sarika Verma
