Fracture in base of 5th metatarsal
How many weeks are required to heal the fracture in base of 5th metatarsal. I got fracture on 6th May and plaster was done on 6th May.But bone could not be joined.Please suggest what to do.

Healing can be commented on after checking the xray and knowing the fracture configuration. If fracture is undisplaced, then removal or continuation of plaster cast can be decided after checking a repeat xray at 6 weeks post- injury. It's unclear what you mean by 'bone could not be joined', you need to be more clear for a proper opinion.

It requires 8-10 week.. plaster can be removed after 6 week
