Found bug in ear

Asked for Female, 33 Years

I have had a sore ear for several weeks now, not bad just aches a little from time to time. Yesterday I kept hearing a odd sound in my ear, got a ear cleaner in the end and got out what looked like a drugstore beetle, it was still alive. Could there be more and what should I do?

Live insect in the ear is not very uncommon and usually in rainy seasons they enter the ear accidentally. It's unlikely that there will more insects inside as our ear canal has limited place inside and usually insects gives rise to typical symptoms
