Foul smell from the naval

Asked for Female, 30 Years

There is a foul smell from my naval. When I checked it was red towards the end and when I put my finger into it it comes out wet. I used a tissue paper to dry the area. Please let me know what may be the cause and what should I apply to the area/naval?

It is infected. See a physician and he/she will prescribe topical or systemic antibiotics based on the severity.
