Fosavance 70 alternative medicine needed
Hi my mother has been taking Fosavance 70 for the last 3 years or so for low bone density, pain in waist etc. Slight case of osteoporosis was detected as well. However this medicine is not available any more in any store.
Please suggest an alternative from your end. I will definitely consult our family doctor as well later but tell me your recommendation.
How long should Fosavance be continued as a rul book?

Hi. Tab Fosavance contain Alendronate, you can buy another brand of Tab Alendronate 70mg (eg. Osteofos). This drug is usually continued for a period of 5 years minimum, further decision can be taken after a repeat bone scan
