Formula milk
I have 5.5 months old baby and yesterday he couldn't get enough feed from me and kept crying with hunger so I gave him around 40 ml formula (APTAMIL gold) for the first time and later after half n hour or so gave my expressed milk in a bottle about 50-60 ml but just after 10-15 mins he threw up all he had mostly the thick liquid which I guess was formula.. and he did so for 3 times till late night after my feeds.. he also seemed to have slight temperature but later on he was fine and was taking my feeds and slept well. Today also he is fine.. but I want to know what caused that to happen? And what else could I do if my supply drops for a day or two and he can't feel satisfied? I have noticed during my periods my milk supply drops temporarily.. does that happen?

Don't mix the feeding.... Look for prepration of milk . How u prepared that . Practice less Expressed milk from bottle. If u have painful periods / stressed dz might affect milk production.. need not to bother it won't change that much that need formula. U can continue supplements. Keep eyes on temperature if it's increases need to contact me.

Yes formula milk may be the reason. Formula milk has different texture and so child didn't accepted it and threw it out. Better to start solids now in the morning so that child becomes less milk dependent. Also, can consider dairy milk, pasturised one. Temporary cessation in milk is common and need not to worry.
