Hi,i hav premature baby ..now 8months old..I'm using similac iq 2 formula.. instead of this can i use dexolac ..is there any difference between similac nd dexolac

You can try dexolac premium stage 2 instead of similac iq 2. Dexolac premium has nucleotides for brain growth which dexolac plain does not as also extra calcium etc. Similac iq has DHA and ARA which are also good for brain growth. But changing formula can cause digestion problems. Watch for these and change back if they are severe. But now baby is 8 months old. You should concentrate on normal food. They are not as beneficial as home cooked fresh food. Give khichdi, mashed potato, sheera, upma, idli, fruits, mix green vegetables in dal rice.  Type baby food recipes 8 months india in google and you will get many options. I think rather than shifting to dexolac which is formula feed again , u can start giving fresh fruit juices,cooked dal water, rava ganji , boiled Dalia with ghee and jaggery. Your target should be complete family food basket by 9 months of age of baby
