Formalin in fish in Chennai markets
I read an article in Hindu recently about Formalin content upto 10 ppm being present in Chennai fish.
I had consumed a piece of fish 2 days back and would like to know what dosage of Formalin is generally lethal for human consumption ? Are the effects of Formalin prevalent in the long run or does it have any instantaneous effect ? I did not face any gastro-intestinal problems or nasal irritation as of now.

Consuming formalin in such a low amount is not harmful to body for if you consume only once ..but in long term and large amount can have deleterious effect on health.

avoid consuming such fish in future and go for some other alternative .
