Forearm fracture treated with ORIF
I had an unfortunate accident around three years ago which resulted in my left forearm getting fractured, both the radius and ulna bones were broken.. treated with ORIF using steel plates and screws.and now my hand hurts a lot when simple tasks are performed, there is a slight swelling near the area where the plate is fixed on one bone, I fear there might be a light fracture, very much worried, please help..

Get a x-ray done to rule out fracture. SS plates incite a inflammatory reaction, which presents as pain, swelling etc.. You can plan implant removal.
