Force feeding medicine
My baby girl one year old. We are giving her valparin syrup due to seizure. She used to take medicine quietly. But for the past 4 days she's very adamant. She's not taking medicine poly. We are force feeding her. She cried a lot while force feeding. We are much concerned. She sensed that we are going to give medicine and she's not opening her mouth. Pls give us some idea. We are mixing water and giving her syrup. Is it ok? Or shall I mix it with anything else. Pls suggest

Good morning sir /madam It's difficult time I can understand tat. If  you are mixing it in water try to add in very small quantity of water so tat it can be administered completely , n then you would not under-dose the child as prescribed

You can mix in water but ensure that she drinks that completely otherwise proper dose might not be administered. You can try and mix it in small quantities of juice also
