Foraminal stenosis
MRI Report At C5/6 level, there is a small left foraminal protrusion indenting on the anterior theca and causing left mild neural foraminal stenosis. At L3/4 level there is posterior annular bulge indenting on the anterior theca and causing mild neural foraminal stenosis. At L4/5 level there is posterior annular bulge with posterior annular tear indenting on the anterior theca and causing bilateral moderate neural foraminal stenosis (left > right). At L5/S1 level there is posterior annular bulge indenting on the anterior theca and causing bilateral no significant neural foraminal stenosis. I am not having any neck or lower back pain but only pain in my arms on and off mostly on the left side. And also burning sensation in wrist and hands please help is the surgery only option left for me??

Surgery for spine is only done if there is an emergency which your doctor will tell you. At your age you must try medicines with exercise and physiotherapy if not already tried. I would strongly recommend to not read MRI at your own. Even some injections can give good relief but should be tried only if medicines havent given any relief.

For ur age, surgery not required, please go for pain management and physiotherapy like back core strengthening exercises. And have some nice lifestyle means general exercises, avoid weight lifting.
