June 2016 underwent ERCP and stent was planted in CBD after a week the gall bladder was removed by surgeon.
erronously the stent could not be removed. after 2-3 months the patient was suffering with stomach pain,vomiting ,fever, jaundice and high acidity till oct 2017.consulted with doctors and after tests retained CBD stone with stent block cholengitis was found. new stent planted on 25 oct 17 and followed by laprscpic surgry 2 nov 17 for removal of stone. high acidity continues with pain.

Hi, This seems like there were stones both on common bile duct and as well in gall bladder. So the doctor has done correct treatment. Once the infection in biliary channel subsides then this stent can be removed.Along with a ERCP and balloon sweep required as few may residual stone should be removed.
Don't worry he is in correct line of management.
