My baby is born with 2.3 kgs weight. In 2 days she reduced to 1.7 kg and gradually started gaining weight. Now she completed one month and she weighs 3 kg.
Her head (fore head to back of head) circumference is 38 cm but her face looks small compared to other babies of her weight/age. Is it normal?
Please let me know if I need to consider any checkup for her face.

Weight reduction 2.3 to 1.7 is abnormal. 3.0 Kg weight at 1 month is also less. However, birth weight of 2.3 was also less as normal babies are at least 2.5
HC 38 cms is normal
Tips
Breastfeeding exclusively
Vitamin D 400 units daily
Keep baby warm
Immunization
Next Steps
complete check up by doctor

Changes in the shape of the head and face is quite natural at such a young age. No need to worry. Your doctor will anyway examine her during your vaccination visit. It should be normal.
Hi..
It seems baby was born Low birth Weight. So she might look small compared to other babies. Loosing weight is also normal in initial days. weight gain and head circumference measurements is adequate according to her age and birth weight. So she will catch up weight on further follow ups. No need to worry. It's normal.
Next Steps
Measure weight and head circumference periodically.
