For GERD which one is best medicine
I have GERD for more than one month but I took medicine for past one week only doctor suggested me NEXPRO RD-40MG and sucrafil suspension Syrup After that I got continues burps in my throat. But I got little relief and next I consulted my family doctor he suggested me REBOZEN-DSR (Rabeprazole and domperiodine) So which will be better should I need to stop NEXPRO RD-40MG and take REBOZEN-DSR (Rabeprazole and domperiodine). Can I take that?

Hi First of all just taking medication to treat your complaints will not help . You need to follow lifestyle modifications and dietary changes along with the medication Avoid spicy food Avoid carbonated drinks and alcohol Stop tea , coffee Take small frequent meals 6-8 per day avoid heavy melas . Add 2 bowls of salads per day. Most importantly do not sleep immediately after having food give a gap of atleast 2 hours between your last meal and sleep . About the medication both the medicines are effective but NEXPO(before food ) is having better results continue this for atleast 2 weeks. As you will see improvement only after 2 weeks and don't change medications frequently. Add syp diegine(after food) (5ml twice a day )to help you to decrease belching (burping)
