The allergens for wheezing vary from person to person . It is not necessary that your child is allergic to any particular food . Common allergens are dust , smoke , pollen , dander , perfumes , some foods like peanuts , eggs , fish etc If you observe that after giving a particular food , your child always tends to get wheezing within a day or two , then you should avoid it but if no relationship between food and wheezing is there , please don’t restrict any foods . Similarly please try to observe any common factor to whose exposure child develops wheezing so that you can identify the allergen and possibly avoid it
