Folcovit Distab is it safe for Baby
My son, age: 1 year had 3 times fever in recent times and our doctor has given him TAXIM O and perhaps due to that my son suffered with swelled eye, diarrhea so went for second opinion and new doctor has advised us to not give TAXIM o or any kind of anti biotic medicine..but doctor has advised to take Folcovit Distab so is 9t safe for baby?

Hi there
Three times fever , can you give some details like how much was the gap between these episodes, and was there any associated symptoms like cough, cold etc.?? How long it lasted each time??
Majority of such infection are due to viral infection and does not require antibiotic.
Folcovit DT is good for diarrhea secondary to antibiotic.
Always avoid any drug which has given allergy so never use taxim or related drugs in future.
