FNAC-SINGLE SITE
Site: FNA of thyroid.
Aspirate: Received 5 alcohol fixed smears.
Microscopy: Smears show predominantly colloid with scattered cyst macrophages. No thyroid follicular cells seen in the smear studied.
IMPRESSION: FNAC, THYROID -FEATURES SUGGESTIVE OF A COLLOID CYST (THYROID BETHESDA CATEGORY I)
Note: Suggested clinico radiological correlation
