Hello sir, Flourescein staining of eye is generally safe. Few side effects can occur but they are temporary, may be from few minutes to few hours. These include eye irritation, discomfort and watering. Very rarely there can be allergic response but this can be managed. Overall nothing to worry

Generally it doesn’t cause toxicity if washed properly after application, though its just for diagnostic purpose, so should not be used frequently .
Next Steps
Consult immediately if any other symptoms appear

Repeated application of fluorescein dye in the eye is generally very safe and does not cause long-term toxicity. Mild irritation or temporary discomfort may occur, but serious adverse reactions are extremely rare.
Next Steps
Avoid rubbing of eyes. In case of prolonged redness/irritation/changes in vision- should consult an ophthalmologist
