Is it suggested to give flu vaccine to 12 year old girl to prevent Covid 19 or reduce its effect if get infected

Influenza vaccine will prevent influenza infection in a child and not covid.As both the illnesses presents with similar signs and symptoms, so it is better to prevent a preventable illness by giving vaccine, to prevent confusion.
