Floaters and seeing crackers bursting
Had floaters in vision 2 months back and still have that in vision. Consulted an optometrist and was told it was normal for my age (39 years). Today while bursting crackers (flower pot) with my daughter, the bright light stayed in the vision for around 10 - 15 minutes, even after closing the eyes. Much worried about this. Is there anything to do? How serious is that..does that affect the vision going forward? Please advice how to proceed on this.

Hi... From what I understand, you have sudden onset of floaters and flashes of light. This could indicate a vitreo-retina issue. It is unlikely the optometrist would have done a detailed retina evaluation. Unfortunately online consultation cannot be done to visualise the retina.

Kindly visit a retina specialist close to your house.
