in general its ok for infants to travel on board a flight. however for new borns it is not advisable as the immune system is still developing.
Next Steps
as your baby is almost 3 months you can travel with some precautions. precautions. due to change in cabin pressure the baby may have ear ache during take off and descent . to prevent it breast feed the baby during take off and descent.or give a pacifier. keep your bottle feed ready with you to give during take offs and descents if not breast feeding. The suckling action helps in alleviating change in ear pressure, the cause of ear ache and crying . keep your hands clean by using hand sanitiser. dont use airlines boiled water. use bottled water to boil if you prefer to give top feed. but at 3 months of age breast feed is the best. give all due vaccine to the baby before you fly.
