Fitsula in ano
My brother is having fitsula in ano 5cm , he is very afraid of surgery and was diagnosed with this disease in March 2022. As per one resident doctor , he told that this fitsula in ano can be cancerous or turn into cancer within 3-4 months .
We are afraid , is this cancer causing disease? Symptom are only some sticky smelly fluid coming from hole along with blood sometimes. Kindly guide 🙏

anal fistula is an abnormal tunnel between the anal canal and the outer skin of the anus. The tunnel often drains pus or liquid, which can soil or stain clothing. So surgery is needed for excision of the fistulous tract.
