Fish bone stuck near tonsil area
Fish bone stuck near the tonsil area since 2 days. Consulted a ENT he did an inspection and said the bone is not visible it must have gone inside. He said not to worry about it. Gave me a few antibiotics and betadine to gargle. He said the fish bone will dissolve own its own. Should I consult another ENT?

If the bone is very small, it will dissolve Just watch for throat pain and intestinal obstruction symptoms for a couple of days
Next Steps
Get 70 degree endoscopy and X-ray neck lateral view to confirm the findings

Good afternoon Kindly donot worry sometimes the sharp end of fish bone will cause mucosal injury mimicking presence of foreign body Kindly add SYP TRICAINE MPS GEL 15 ml twice daily before food review with the same surgeon sos

You need to do X ray soft tissue neck Lateral view to exclude any fish bone stuck below the visible range of throat. You may need Fibre optic laryngoscopy for the same if anything stuck, that need to be removed.
