Finger trauma
I had a deep cut in my left hand's little finger on november 2016, only some area from top of finger tip was left so stitches came and doctor said that it will be fine and nail has been removed because it turn into black but they didn't removed the nail at that time and it turn into black, it was already more than 2 months but my finger is still not healing and it goes thin from upper side, after the dead part of skin is removed and it looks ugly. i have a concern that do i consult from another doctor and my finger will be heal or not. please give me some suggestion/advice what to do?

Hello there.  I can understand your concern.  We need to see how exactly it is. Without seeing how will we know. You could have attached a picture of the lesion.  Get it checked out by a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management.  Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain. Bangalore.
