hi ! filaria is a bacterial infection which affects the lymph system, due to which swelling is very much esp in the legs. the infection that is caused by this bacteria can be cured completely by any medication allopathy, homoeopathy etc but the swelling which is the result of infection is most of the time incurable, as subcutaneous and lymphatic tissues get enlarged due to infection which is irreversible even after the infection is cured. if you are facing any troubles other than swelling you can consult a good physician near by allopathy or homoeopathy you can be cured of it.
