Fibrotic changes in lower lobe of lung
Hello, my mom has lower fibrotic changes in the left lung. She is suffering from cold, cough, and shortness of breathing during the night. HRCT is normal as it reveals fibrotic changes. The chest x-ray is normal. However, she has had a higher antibiotic medicine. But she has not gained any improvement. she is in Ahmedabad. Can you help me?

Hi If she has fibrotic changes, it means that part of lung is suffering for ventilation. Do lung function test and follow up. Stop Antibiotics after the course. Don continue for long time. That will reduce her immunity
