Hello, I am 24 years unmarried girl. In March this year, fibroadenoma is detected in both the breast (3 in each). Size is quite large. They are non painful usually, but before periods and at the time of periods it becomes painful. Please suggest me Are they dangerous? Can I let them be as it is or do I need to operate them.? I have been taking ayurvedic medicine since April but no major changes happen in the size of fibroadenoma. Please suggest what to do.

It's not normal to have fibroadenoma, fibroids, irregular periods ( early or late), missing periods, spotting between periods, prolonged heavy flow, pains and cramps during cycle, PMS and mood changes before periods, PCOS, Endometriosis, fertility issues, tiredness, hair fall, sleep disturbances, weight issues etc. If it is happening to you, it's a sign of underlying hormone imbalance which needs further evaluation with blood investigations , scan etc.Good news is that all your problems can be totally reversed , not by masking the symptoms with pills but by addressing the underlying cause of the problem and healing it from the ROOT cause. Only surgery without balancing the hormones is of no use as more fibroids and fibroadenoma can grow .
Hope it helps.....

If size is increasing and you are getting pain then once after confirmation of diagnosis by mammography get done surgery.FNAC and serum prolactin level is also compulsory. But recurrence is also there.
