Fever not reducing
My daughter is eating R Cinex Z kid for her condition. The treatment started 7 days back but the fever is not going. She started having fever on 11th june and after tests Gold quantiferon came positive followed by chest xray showed positive tb infection. However after starting the medication on 20th june fever has not reduced. Pls advise we are very worried. Thankyou.

Continuing medicine is the only way. Please be advised, the fever will come down slowly. Also you can take Tab Meftal forte half as needed for fever , on top the medicines ur already taking Cold sponging as well. This should help

Hello.  She can use bhringarajasav and antitrust 1spoon each with equal water thrice daily after food.  These are available at Ayurveda stores.  They reduce fever and improve the immunity as well.

Hello There. I can understand your concern. she is on treatment of tuberculosis and she will have to continue it as long as prescribed by the physician. and the fever will also come down gradually. additionally you can take a paracetamol 500 mg twice or thrice a day as needed to control the temperature. give her lots of water and a high protein diet as well. best regards, Dr. Anil kumar jain.
