Fever in pregnancy

Asked for Female, 22 Years

I am in 3rd trimester (8th month). For last 2 days, i am suffering with fever and shivering. My dr prescribed P650 for 3 days and 3 times in a day. Till now we took 2 tablets, but still the fever is not reduced. Tested that there is no infection in urine. Please let me know the answers for the below questions. 1. Will this fever affect my baby? 2. Can i continue to take P650? 3. Or shall i approach some other gynaecologist? 4. Any suggestions please. Thanks in advance.

Only crocin for high grade fever is not the only drug advisable. Ideally you should be admitted in a hospital and be under constant monitoring and investigation for finding the cause of fever sent.
