Took my son to emergency Saturday fever 38.2 at 7 weeks old. Blood work and urine came back clear. He's still a bit warm today 38.0. They said probably a virus and didn't feel the need to do a spinal tap. Is there anything else we can do or be concerned about?

Not every fever need a spinal tap..it needed when brain infection suspected..anyways, if fever is not much now, wait for 1-2 days if baby feeding well, active and no other significant symptoms..paracetamol may b given as per weight..
