Fever from last couple of days
Sir /madam Last year my father was suffered from menengitis. This year from last 20 days he s not well some time he s having headache and some time fever. He s already taking medicine BP medicine (telma 40mg) and urien infection medicine dinapress . Kindly suggest . He s taking crocin for fever. But full day there s no fever but in evening he s having fever in between 99 to 100. Kindly suggest what to do and one more thing his age s 70 years.

There is always a probability of a relapse. But that will not be the first possibility here. The age and urinary tract problems needs to be looked at. The baseline investigations calcium sodium and urine routine and culture should be done. Dynapress is used for BPH - prostate enlargement. The obstruction and age predispose to UTI. Hopefully it will not be a TB relapse. Get these tests done.
