Fever, cold and cough
My son has had a fever, runny nose and cough for the past 3 days. He is active in between fever spikes. We consulted a doctor and he said it is virul flu. I am giving Crocin every 6 hours along with cold and cough syrup. How many days a viral fever lasts? He is getting fever 6 hours after having fever medicine. The temperature is mostly high at night time. Please let me know how to take care of him.

It varies depending on the virus. For common viruses, fever may persist for 3 to 5days on average while other constitutional features that might persist longer
