My son 1.4 years from last 2 months having viral infection s one after other and not settling down and lost weight from 8.4 kg to 7.7 kg.. he is having fever close to 101.5 to 102 every time.. he was hospitalized last week where blood test & ultrasound showed hepatosplenomegaly and hypochromic microlytic anaemia.. was given IV fluid and discharged 3 days later after 4 days. He again got fever around 101.5 from last 3 days... He is eating ok after discharge , playing when fever not there..

1.4 year old anemic underweight child , sick for two months and losing further weight is a serious problem. Please be in constant touch with your pediatrician and if necessary repeat or RE-investigate him. Have to rule out Tuberculosis.
